Soak it Up project with Yorkshire Water

This summer, Yorkshire Water will be working with local communities and schools by running educational workshops to encourage residents to think about how small actions can contribute towards the removal of flooding.

Earby Town Council require someone to help with mowing, strimming, care of allotment fencing, ground spraying and other duties as necessary.

This will be for one day a week on a temporary contract only to a self employed person that will run until the 31-03-2019.

However the council's financial position remains extremely challenging, with a forecasted funding gap of £144m in 2021/22. Because of this, they still need to make some difficult decisions in order to make further savings.

Dogs Trust Community Event 3rd April

There will be a free microchipping event at the Parish Rooms on Tuesday 3rd April 11 - 3pm.

This is an opportunity for dog owners to receive free microchipping, pet health checks and advice.

Celebrate the RAF Centenary with us

On Thursday 29th March at 11:00am, Rev. Hugh Fielden will lead prayers before the raising of the RAF Flag, at Earby Bus Station.
