Given the past problems caused by bad weather it was thought advisable to once again let it be known that advice is available. Pendle Borough Council (PBC) give sound practical advice on its website and will actually deliver sandbags to you. Do not wait until the water is lapping at your door, contact PBC now and ask for sandbags. You can then be prepared for the worst.
The audit for the year ended 31st March 2017 was completed on the 18th September by BDO LLP and was presnted to and accepted by Council at the 25th September 2017 meeting. All the documentation required by the Local Audit & Accountability Act 2014 and the Accounts & Audit Regulatiuons 2015 can be found on the Finance page of this website.
